Self signed certificate in the BrewMemo app

From BrewMemo for iOS 1.2 onward, you can use Nextcloud instance with a self-signed SSL certificate.

First, you have to get the certificate. You can open your browser on your PC (write us, if you know a way on how to download it on the iPhone) and navigate to your Nextcloud. In the warning pop you can then view and download the certificate.

Then send it to your device, with AirDrop, Mail or your Nextcloud.

On the iPhone / iPad, open BrewMemo and the Settings Menu. In there, you will find “My Certificates”. Via “Add a certificate”, you can then select your saved certificate.

After that, you can add your Nextcloud in the Account settings and your notes will use SSL.
